Sun, Showers and Fêtes

A typical Spring Bank Holiday Monday.

The Oaks in Charnwood Country Fair was very well attended including Len, William, Basil and me. Lots to see, with a dog show but what really fascinated William was the big tractors and lorries. See extra. Just like his Dad at that age.

Some excellent plants for sale. Too much for me to carry what with pushing the pushchair with Basil's lead looped over the handle. Len held William by the hand.

We enjoyed  hog roast with William mostly eating the chips and Basil picking up the pieces of pork that came his way. We finished up at the church hall for tea and cake.

Then a rush to Leicester to get Will back in time to go to a birthday party.
