BBQ?

It’s so nice to wake up on a Sunday and realise it’s a bank holiday.
I drove R to work early as she’s working overtime counting votes after the EU election, and returned to cook breakfast for our overnight guests.
The rest of the morning was taken up with a job I’ve been putting off, filing paperwork. All those bills and letters that are put in a pile to be sorted later and the months pass. I have of course vowed in future to do this as they arrive, but in reality I know that won’t happen.
Fred and Paula, arrived in the afternoon, as they’re off to Krakow tomorrow with S&S. We had a walk along the river and caught up on news, and Sam cooked a beautiful piece of pork to be finished on the BBQ. Fortunately the rain held off.
