Doug, the ferret

I helped Angela out in her lab today. She studies the gaits of these adorable guys. We tried the ferrets out on the treadmill, where they walk in a clear box to measure oxygen consumption. They kept wanting to walk backwards on the treadmill, but they did ok. And they were rewarded with peanut butter of course.
