I Love Spring!

Dear Diary,

It seems everything in the garden is trying extra hard to put on a good show this spring.  The apple trees are resplendent with blooms,  the bleeding hearts are lovely and my violets are really outdoing themselves this year.  These three just say "New England garden" to me.  And, of course, there are lilacs.  No country garden would be complete without them.  They are just reaching their peak so I will give them a spotlight a bit later.  Oh, I do love this time of year!
