Need an electrician?

We are fairly close to a private airport so often get small (and some not so small) planes and helicopters going over the house but this sounded as though it was hovering nearby so I went out for a look.  There is an electricity cable across the horses' field next to us so I don't know if they were checking that out but they circled the house several times at a pretty low level and were around for quite a while.

It got me thinking of one of the TV shows I used to watch as a kid; Whirlybirds.  They don't make 'em like that any more.  Probably just as well.....
