Bad news came through that the youngest peregrine chick didn't reach a falconer but died on the way.

I went to the golf course again looking to see the woodpecker enter his nest but whilst I heard the chicks and saw the parents they didn't get near the hole whilst I was around. I need more cover. However the nuthatch continued to feed its young in the same tree and the chics are now strong enough to come to the hole entrance to get fed. The photo clearly shows they are also presenting their faecal sac to be taken away, how kind of them !
