Christmas dinner French style

Out for our dinner tonight. This is a brassarade - for those not in the know it is a wee charcoal fire with a grill on the top and a shelf underneath. You choose your meat and pop it on the top to cook. You can put bits of cheese in nous wee frying pan and put that under the fire and it all melts. You then pile it on your plate with cooked potatoes, cold meats, dips and salad. Nom nom nom!

A very clever friend of ours made us one which we use at home. Great to share with friends - very interactive and spreads the meal out in a very chilled way.

A quiet Christmas here with just the 2 of us but enjoyed just the same. Hope you all had just the day you were hoping for.
