Let the day begin

By late afternoon, I was wanting the day to be over. Actually left in the dark. The main delay was due to being required to go to a workshop on flow of patients; which took up two hours in the middle of the afternoon. My suggestion that what patients really want and need is joined up care no matter where they are in the system, was pretty universally acknowledge as being right. Still, the end result is focussed on managing the blocks to admission to and the delays to discharge from the inpatient unit.
