Work in progress...
...only disturb if you're bringing a cuppa...
Roy decided to repair the pointing on the side of our garage before Graham put his new shed up - hence our mission to buy mortar on Bank Holiday Monday ;) As he started scraping out the old stuff he realised what a bad job had been done originally - and ended up scraping the whole lot out ready for a proper job! He's been dodging showers to get it done, but it's a long garage so he's doing it section by section, and has rigged up a cover for when it does rain - he's a problem solver by nature... Thanks to steveng for hosting this week ;)
The initial musical backing that popped into my head was this classic... but then I succumbed to Pink Floyd...
As promised, heart and honourable mentions for Derelict Sunday - DS142 today.
My five derelict hearts for DS142 this week go to:
soletrader's rickety bridge
bugsman's ancient lawnmower
DigitalDave's car - invaded by ivy
timb's ruined farm buildings
rmeinz's shipwreck ( which didn't appear in the gallery for some reason )
Honourable mentions for:
Freuchie's rusty bridge
steveng's bicycles ( in extras )
molke's rusty bell
I'm visiting journals now if I haven't already, so I don't post this and think "job done"! So much variety again - now go and see what you can find for this week’s challenge – tag is DS143 until midnight on Sunday June 2nd ;)
