A mono sort of day

We waited in this morning for the gas boiler service people to come . They finally cancelled at 12 o'clock!  That would have been very annoying if we had been wanting to go out walking. However we had arranged for our daughter and the children to come up from Ulverston for a few hours, so they brightened up the day !
It was dull and drizzly after they had gone so we went down to the lake and took some photos which probably look better in mono to suit the day! 
The water levels are low at the moment , giving this big curving puddle in the foreground looking towards Borrowdale.
Going to see Rocketman later after a pizza!
