Two classics

These two trains are classic Inter City 125s British built in Crewe between 1975 and 1982. Scotrail has leased 30 of them to improve the services to Perth Aberdeen Dundee and Inverness. They ran for GWR between Wales and London from 1976 but have been 'retired'. With refurbishment they have 10 -15 years life in them so far reported to be faster and much more comfortable than the Sprinters they replace
