Pillar of the Community

We had to go to Bromsgrove Register Office to register Mom's death today. The office is now in the building that was Rob's secondary school. There were two of these pillars and Rob remembers them being in the school yard. Thought we should have a shot of him at his old school.

Quite a lot of officialdom dealt with today. A lot of phone calls. Quite a few miles travelled. Received some lovely flowers. Talked to the florist doing funeral flowers. Took some clothes for mom to the funeral directors. All ended tonight with giving a presentation about dementia to a local church. They were very kind.
