An Old Airman's Life

Depth of field

Several months ago, I decided to buy a relatively expensive pocket sized camera from one of the residents in my condo.  I did not take the time until recently to play with all the features.  Disappointed would be an understatement for the way I felt about the camera.  Of course, I did my normal, why read the booklet?  Anyone can flip a toggle.  I have now flipped enough toggles and mashed enough buttons to begin to figure out what I am doing, sort of.

The image above and the extra actually turned out just about the way I had visualized them before clicking the shutter.
