Christmas Mushroom Pie

I started the day with a squelchy run to the top of Capelaw (there's been lots of rain here, too). Great to enjoy the hills after so much time indoors preparing for Christmas.

We enjoyed Christmas dinner with Ian's parents. Catherine and Linda made a delicious mushroom pie as the vegetarian option. Here's a detail of the hazelnut pastry.

It was wonderful to receive a phone call from Adam today. Looking forward to his return home in the spring.
