Moon Tree

A trip to Austin's Nature and Science Center today. The centre has an arboretum with 100 native American trees. This was one which rather caught us by surprise and was worth a little more reading. It is a second generation tree grown from one of 500 seeds which were taken on the Apollo 14 mission and orbited the moon. 
Later in the evening we went to watch an open air theatre production of 'The Merchant of Venice' which we enjoyed. I think the local mosquito also enjoyed our presence!!
