That's a big one

This Cordyline (well that's what we call it) was badly damaged in a Winter frost many years ago so we threw it out on the compost heat.  In the Spring it had started to grow again so the poor thing was hoyed in a hole out of sight of all the pretty things and left to fend for itself.

For the last couple of Springs it has produced a flower head but this year it has excelled itself.
