Lower Ferry.

Kingswear to Dartmouth lower ferry.

It was time to leave our holiday house and head back home today. We stopped off in Kingsbridge to pick up some Portelmouth Pasties ( for the freezer), then headed to Hope Cove for lunch at the Hope and Anchor pub.

We had a quick walk on the beach, but dogs had to be on a lead, so it wasn’t much fun for Islay.

We dropped off MIL, then headed to Thurlestone as Islay could have a good run off lead.

Then the long journey back to Wiltshire ( although not as far as Scotland!).
