Peony

Spotted this beauty on Craigleith Road between showers.
It's Ascension Day today so I was in church this morning then our friends from the US arrived back from their 10 days in Orkney and Shetland. We had an afternoon catching up and then we all went out to the MWS, in Queen Street, for a whisky tasting and supper... I still don't like whisky I'm afraid and that's the second time I've been to one of these, although last time I spectated. I did enjoy the company though, so nice to be with old friends.
Managed 13003 steps today which was fairly miraculous!
