Backyard Creatures

So much activity running and flying and buzzing around the “back yard”…. here’s a start…a douglas squirrel and Mr and Mrs. western tanager.   (the moose didn't make it into this, however...)


FINISHED all windows that were going to get washed at all today...   no more, til next year.  yea.!  Actually, in spite of what I said before, they look pretty good!  Now just have to clean up the studio a bit to match the sparkly windows.   But my dil told me it was “national creativity day” so instead of anything more practical, , I made the little carrying box for the Ethiopian binding book (HERE) with lovely tough handmade linen indigo dyed paper.(extra)  the 2 folded boxes fit one over the other..hard to see...it's  an ancient design, still used.
