Ripples on the Water....

We had rain during the night followed by a sunny day with a light breeze. This fine weather is predicted to end this evening with a very cold southerly blast due to come up the South Island from Antarctic regions! Maisie and I drove to the Taylor Dam early this afternoon. We climbed up and over the dam structure then walked along the track following the toe, up again to walk back along the top. At least I walk and Maisie runs. Once back at ground level alongside the lake I photographed one of the many resident black swans.
