Christmas Day

I can confidently say that this was a Christmas Day like no other, and one that was wonderful and will never be forgotten :-)

Pictured are the four lovely ladies I shared it with, my gorgeous amazing wife Andrea, Zeydon (in the hat), Tsering and Yanzum (l-r).

We popped a couple of stockings into the bedroom of Zeydon and Tsering at about 4 in the morning and they were enough to prompt Zeydon to not want to go to school. Her Mum kindly let her stay and celebrate with us, which was a very wise decision :-)

We had breakfast together and then opened our presents, with Zeydon giving them out. We all got some lovely, thoughtful things and Zeydon was very pleased with her Jenga game ("My Mum said she would buy me this tomorrow. Tomorrow never came"!).

We then set about making a roast dinner with no oven and only two gas burners. I'll spare you the details but I can happily report that we did it, a plate of roast chicken, three types of potatoes, broccoli and carrots all covered in a lush gravy. We were very pleased with ourselves, and our Tibetan hosts were equally impressed :-P

The desert was the Mrs' lovely cake she had decorated with a chocolate ganash and strawberries with cream :-P

Then we had a Jenga fest with the loser having to do a forfeit, Yanzum was not the most keen to sing a song, to say the least! But we all had a great laugh.

We also had time to go out the house to purchase a gorgeous new blanket and call friends and family to wish them a Happy Christmas!

The day ended with the Mrs trying on her new Tibetan outfit and the four girls all dancing round to Tibetan music and Zeydon sang us some songs with her lovely voice.

Very special and very Chrismassey, Neapl style.
