I met Keith in Sainsbury for lunch before going on to see Jeanie. Today she was very focused on eating, chocolate pudding and custard, which she ate very slowly using her fingers. It was very messy, but at least she was eating and not distressed. Paul, one of the lovely carers, brought a towel and flannel for me to clean her up afterwards, but she was still hungry as she then tried to eat a napkin, so we went straight on to eating a banana.which was also quite a messy time. But although she pouched it at times, she did eat it. Jeanie didn’t say any words until I gave her another kiss when I was going to leave and she whispered “be careful!”.
