Sticky-out-thing

Jane always used to say that all my lakes pictures had things sticking out into lakes.

Well, I have to plead guilty as they do make a good composition.

Today the weather was forecast to be wet with 60 mph gusts on the higher fells so we met up with Davidc and Sheila to walk down the west side of Derwentwater.  The misty conditions were great for photography.  When I looked through today's shots I chose this one because of the thin horizon layer at the top that I had not seen when I shot it.
