Sunrise on Boxing Day

As daughter E was getting ready for work, I headed outside to watch this glorious sunrise at 5.20 this morning, sadly this lovely start to the day did not carry on through.

Daughter A was flying back to Wellington this morning and was delayed three times, thankfully we had an early flight booked so she could make work by noon and with a help of a taxi at the other end she made it just in the nick of time.

We've been surrounded by dismal grey cloud and steady rain, the house has become quiet as both girls have had to return to work, this sunrise was that blip you sometimes have up your sleeve, just in case.

I've been a little absent the last couple of days, backslips start here, if you would like to take a peek - my time has been with my family especially with both daughters only being here for a short time.
