Buttercup

There is a lovely display of these buttercups in the grass area in part of the park.  They leave large areas unmown to allow wild flowers and insects to flourish.

I thought I would be clever and give the correct Latin name for this flower, but a quick Google revealed that there is a large variety of buttercups and I couldn't distinguish which particular species this flower belonged to.  All I can say is that it is part of the Ranunculus family.
