The Columbia Rediviva came up the river now bearing its name.  This picture is etched into the concrete support for the new waterfront pier.  last meeting until autumn for book club, so we met at a new waterfront restaurant for lunch today.  A beautiful weekend ahead weather wise.

 A friend and I are heading to Port Ludlow tomorrow to stay for a long weekend and enjoy the festivities in Port Townsend for the R2AK Which is a wild party/race to Alaska only rules are no motor and no support.  First place is $10,000. and second place is a set of steak knives!  They leave the dock on Tuesday morning but Monday all day is send off.
