Spread

Quite a slow day although got through quite a lot. Feedback to people about promotions, meetings, email and arrangements for things later in the summer, nice chat to newish arrival in the city who’s going to be a good new partner for projects. Rare catch up with P that was interesting but as often the case we didn’t get through much and needed a lot longer.
The weather once again cool and wet and generally miserable...fed up of it.
Met up with H&L in the evening and we went to Leith for seafood. They’ve been touring Scotland all week and this is their first time in Edinburgh. Not sure if there’s a name for how we’re connected - they are my son T’s in-laws....
Delicious food, and lots of chat about their recent trips to Sri Lanka and Australia, family, places to live, travel, safaris, weddings, canal boats and camper vans. I’m going to be taking them on a walking tour of the city tomorrow (although probably should be going round kitchen and bathroom shops) so I hope I feel more lively than today.
