Earlier meeting...

...so my morning routine was somewhat altered only to then get to the station and find chaos.

A broken down early LNER train had caused the three previous trains to be cancelled.

The platform, the one across the tracks, was deep with people.

That said the 08:08 did appear...it left at 08:12...the guard was uncertain as to whether we would get through all the way to Edinburgh but glad to say we did...hurrah...and only 16 minutes late.

As Scotrail issues go this was minor for me...not so minor for those who turned up for the 06:41.

Grateful for only a short delay.
