Puffin

After a long journey we got to the puffins too late yesterday so instead we went for a wander around Bridlington. It's a very quiet town but we loved it. The people are very friendly and it's very clean. 
Today after not very much sleep due to excitement I got to see what i spent all that time driving for. The gorgeous, beautiful puffins, although i was shocked at how small they actually are. I was thinking they would be about penguin size, but no..... they are only 8 inches tall. They are so hard to spot in amongst all the other birds. 
The extra is of a gannet. I was totally smitten with these as well. 
It was definitely a trip we will be doing again although next time we will stay longer
