Queen Anne celebrating June

There used to be abundant Queen Anne’s lace along our road but that is a thing of the past with all the development going on.

On the way over to check on my cousin D who lives about 2 miles away, I saw some growing along the road to her house. Photo opportunity for today.

We laughed today as she is already complaining about being confined. Then she realizes she has no car and can’t walk well with the crutches as the whiplash has really shown its face in her neck and shoulders so she can’t go anywhere or do anything anyway! We solved part of that problem by putting the rolling desk chair by the bed so she can roll herself around as if she had one of those knee scooter things. She did not want to get one of those because when she goes back to the doctor on Tuesday she hopes to be put in a walking boot. Hoping this is so! The heel is not broken, just chipped very badly.

Her cell phone is damaged from the car wreck so she is waiting to see if the insurance of the people who ran into her will cover the phone. She has a borrowed phone but has none of her contacts, etc. which is probably a good thing as she is taking some pain meds that might make her say stupid things! We found that out today also.

Tomorrow she wants me to help her get a shower. We have a plan!
