Sumburgh Puffin

Back on Shetland.

An early start from Oxford meant that I was on Shetland by lunchtime - and how better to celebrate than by walking up the coast to the Sumburgh Head lighthouse. 

The early morning weather on Shetland was rubbish and the pilot on the flight from Aberdeen was preparing us for 'alternate plans'.   Fortunately the weather significantly improved which gave me the chance to watch puffins amongst the sea pinks.
