Subtle

The current peonies are certainly more subtle than the last lot and have provided a blip on a day when I have done very little and Bailey even less. It started well spinning with the bestest friend for the first time in a few weeks, a second walk for Bailey and a trip to the supermarket for Bailey-supplies. And then I started reading Conversations with Friends and didn't stop until it was finished. Not quite as intense as Normal People but 110 pages longer so a different sense of satisfaction on finishing it. 

All school work has been avoided so far so that will need to be tackled tomorrow. There is not a great deal on the list so an early start is planned to see it done.  

(And I have seen a sparrow at the nest this evening - still no noise but it was quite a hopeful sign - or maybe wishful thinking.)
