Boys and their Toys

We were invited to Charlotte and Chris’ this afternoon/evening along with Heartfreek and Mr W.  

We set off about 9.30am but the traffic was a bit of a nightmare, particularly on the M25, however we arrived early so we stopped off at Westbury Court Gardens (National Trust) which is a Dutch water garden.  It was very pretty, although quite small, but perfect to stretch our legs and have a toilet break.

We arrived at Charlotte’s about 10 minutes after Tamzin and Ray and spent a lovely afternoon catching up over drinks in the garden and playing games.  Charlotte had set up archery and garden jenga, and Alan and Ray brought their air rifles and pistols and set up a target range.  Lots of fun was had by all and my Blip today had to be of the boys and their toys with Charlie’s Angels in my extra :-)

We were treated to a wonderful dinner and we sat outside until it got a bit chilly when we retired indoors to continue the chat.  It’s been a wonderful day, thank you Charlotte and Chris for your hospitality xx
