Hedgerow Cellar?

I've promised I will make elderflower champagne for years and today I have actually started it.

Starting today it is national volunteer week in the UK and to mark that there was a short event at the night shelter with a few presentations and then tea and cake for any volunteers who wanted to attend.

I then had lunch with the lovely lady before taking her to an afternoon workshop with her choir. Then out into the country to a lane I knew I wanted to collect some elderflowers.

After walking the boys I had the role of mayor's escort at the choir performance given by the visiting choir from Gießen and the Winchester community choir. It was a good evening.
