Life from city to village

Today was focused on getting the teenagers ready for their busiest week of exams next week. It is going to be tough on them, particularly my youngest, who sits 9 exam papers next week.

I have also been looking at organising our next trip away, which should be fun. Of course it would always be easier if there was a better way of getting to the airport. If I became a politician, one of my manifesto pledges would be to make it illegal to charge for more than £20 to park if there was no direct public transport from the closest city centre. That is me being slightly grumpy - as there is no public transport link whatsoever to our closest airport.

The sparrow was feeding from the feeder in my garden. I love watching them.
