Blip on the road - Discovery

I remember the premier of Discovery in Camel Trophy back in early 90s. We watched the grand opening in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania and two or three weeks later probably half of the vehicles got sunk in the swamp land of Malawi ot Uganda, cannot remember exactly where now. The marshals had to call off the raid or some parts of it a week premature.
That was such change after the Defender had been mincing mud and climbing mountains since the early days of that rally raid.
And now - here we are one of the Camel Discoveries is up and running in perfect condition along the ring road in Moscow. Keep going!!!!
Camel Trophy was one of the hardest and most romantic raids, a history now. We certainly were much younger....
