Back blip
Thank you to everyone who commentated on yesterday’s blip and for the stars and a heart. I couldn’t post this yesterday as I didn’t even have the energy to join the WiFi!!
Today was the first day of our cycling holiday, it was very hot and reached 34C!!
We were told by the tour operator that we would be cycling 64 Kms . Due to my urgent trip to NZ I sadly didn’t do that much training. It started out a beautiful ride along the Garonne river and through the countryside. We stopped at a lovely little cafe for lunch thinking we’d done about half the journey. As it happened we cycled on and on and it got more hilly and we were getting seriously tired. Eventually we arrived at our hotel in St Macaire and we collapsed on the chairs inside and enjoyed a refreshing lager! It transpired that we had cycled 84 Kms, no wonder we were so exhausted!!!
