Pelouse autorisée
To take care of the grass, the gardeners at the Luxembourg rotate which lawns are available for use and which are "pelouses interdites". This one was getting a lot of use this beautiful Sunday afternoon.
We went on a good walk through the park and down to the Montparnasse cemetery. We brought along a potato for Agnès Varda's grave and did our best to find Louise Cruppi's. We'd seen photographs of her son's grave and eagle eyes Ch spotted it in section 11. It turns out that he is buried with his brother Marcel and the brother's wife (Alice Nérik)... but no sign of their mother's grave. It's (still) a mystery. A bit of a strange outing on a sunny Sunday, but all in the name of research.
