Flying Festival at The Shuttleworth Collection

We did indeed have an early start this morning... It was a rather special day at Old Warden Aerodrome with no less than seven C47 Dakotas on the grass... Some have come as far as California and they are all here to take part in the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy.

Hard to get a photo with all of them, but I do like this one, the Westland Lysander with two C47s behind is not a photo I'm likely to be able to get again.
