Back to the patio.

My son Chris is a star. After my pathetic attempts to build a patio which ended in me taking up the slabs and starting again, he helped me to prepare the site and level the ground. It is so much better doing a job like this with someone else. I feel we made progress today. The wheel carries and tarpaulin under which the sand, cement and paving slabs are stored seemed like a fitting photo of today.
Grateful that I have a superbly practical son, also for a sunny day to work outside and a sense of progress at last in the patio project.
