Spent a very pleasant afternoon with fellow artists Claire Paterson and Peter Tudhope judging the Plein Air Painting Competition at Culzean Castle. Participants had Saturday in which to paint. This is a great competition and it's not an easy thing to do, especially with so many visitors in the grounds. Well done everyone who took part and thanks to the Scottish National Trust for the kind hospitality they showed the judges today.
