Scarfie

At the Brough of Deerness, a favourite walk that we also take when we are on Orkney. The birds were nesting this year and this Scarfie/Shag posed for us on the cliff.
In the extra photos is a picture of the Brough itselt with the remains of the chapel just visible and the Calf of Copinsay on the horizon. We didn't walk up the chapel this year as the path is a little precarious at the best of times but not one to try while carrying a one year old!
