Two Trees

Went over to the Ashdown Forest this morning to give the spaniel a change of scene. He's somewhere in the foreground but impossible to see in the thick molina grass. Although its only a few miles north, the lighter soils produce a strikingly different landscape. Looking out now at lashing rain, scudding clouds and gloom its difficult to believe this was less than five hours ago.
