Morning visitor

I was surprised to see this little fella sitting on my kitchen windowsill this morning. He or she must have climbed up the outside of the building to reach me on the first floor.

It was pretty dehydrated, so I brought out some salad leaves.

Eyes out on stalks it must have felt like the luckiest gastropod in the world.

I'll give it a proper feed before rehoming it in the cemetery later.
