Performance Costume

To Hidden Door first thing but it was more like closed door - apparently you can only see the visual art if you get a ticket for their noisy music. So onward to the ECA for the degree show. Wendy, who knows a thing or two about modern art given that she actually makes a living from it, said it was garbage. Actually there were a few wee nuggets in there that appealed and some of them we’ll probably see again next year at the New Contemporaries thing. Thought the stuff in Evolution House was pretty missable apart from a couple of ‘Art Space and Nature’ pieces mind.
A quick detour to Castlecliff to talk to the guys there before meeting up again with a dejected SK. Driving up town we'd both heard a crump at a speed bump (at very low speed) - and now, yep, the sump was pissing oil onto the road. A bit of a design flaw on the new Beetle. Or CEC’s bumps. But either way, we’ll be the ones that’ll pay. Off it went on some guy’s loader to Gorebridge. Hopefully we’ll see it again, but she really could do with something a bit newer. I may have mentioned that before.
