Mt Cook

A trip around the Lakes this afternoon was an exciting trip, both the Waitaki and Avimore Dams were spilling water.Check out MrsPuffs extra. The Waitaki side was quite windy and once we got over to the McKenzie side the wind was hardly noticeable but the temperature was a warm 3 deg C and dropping. We got to Lake Pukaki as the Sun was going down, Mt Cook stood in the last light as magnificent as ever and not the slightest bit of haze or cloud covering her this evening. I struggled with my images tonight and my extra is slightly later than this one.
