MonoMonday:Check

I found Laurie54's theme quite difficult today.
I tried photographing the big chess board in the park but it wasn't very interesting.
Then I decided to check the temperature which was about 4C but wasn't tempted to stay outside and photograph the thermometer.
Instead here is a medical thermometer used to check a patient's temperature.
I doubt if they are used much anymore. They have much fancier devices these days.
