Sandy's slipper
Ours is not one of thise tasteful trees, hung with decorations which match. It's a 6ft artificial Canadian Pine, bought in 1990 at great expense. I remember saying to D that if we were married for 50 years, we would have spent £1 a year on it. Some of the baubles are glass ones, inherited from my parents. Others date from my time working at Oxfam. A lot of the decorations were made by my children at preschool, others by me when I went to a craft class. All of them have sentimental value.
This one was used as a Christmas stocking by Sandy, one of Sarah's hamsters.
