Take Flight

We had a lovely (though restricted because of the flooding) walk around Priory Marina in Bedford - and we fed the ducks and geese (the swans were late as usual).

There was a point as I was taking pictures and all the birds got spooked: some decided to take flight.

It was suggested to me by a friend last week that I should concentrate on learning all about shutter speed first.....so this was a practice.....faster shutter means that I can capture "fast" things - this is new to me......

And this is the lucky result - right place - right time :D
