Sleepy 'Ugly Duckling'

I heard but didn't see President Trump's helicopters heading for Stansted at around eight this morning. We watched Air Force One land on TV and saw him and Melania climb into Marine One. I stationed myself on the front lawn in case his flight overflew my garden on the way to London like it did last year. I was a bit disappointed as I only got shots of a couple of the US Chinooks. My last year's prediction was correct. 

Ollie dog and I finally caught up with the Parndon little bridge cygnets. When we got to the bridge they were in the water but then they climbed out onto the huge nest and very fastidiously preened themselves. After that all four of them fell asleep 'in a flurry of eiderdown'. :)
